For moderate to severe conditions associated with bacteria and a wide range of microorganisms

Davis Maximum Chlorhexidine™ Shampoo, with 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate, is formulated for moderate to severe skin conditions associated with microorganisms and bacteria. Proven safe Chlorhexidine Gluconate, works to provide a therapeutic bath and helps to promote healthy skin and coat. Davis Maximum Chlorhexidine Shampoo is effective, yet mild and may even be used for routine shampooing on all dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, horses and foals.

Directions For Use

Wet coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply shampoo to head and ears, then lather. Do not get shampoo into eyes. Repeat procedure with neck, chest, middle and hind quarter, finishing with legs. Allow shampoo to be absorbed for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse thoroughly. For best results, repeat procedure. For added benefit between baths, apply Davis Chlorhexidine Spray or Davis Chlorhexidine Ointment to localized areas.

If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. Not for otic use.

This treatment applies to the following species:

  • Horses
